Smart sales route planning, built on real-world experience (and frustration)

Why the name? In the human eye, the blind spot is where the optic nerve connects to the retina. It's the only part of the retina without light-sensitive cells. A literal gap in your vision. But your brain fills it in automatically, so you never notice what you're not seeing. The same happens in field sales. Reps miss valuable accounts without realizing it. Not because they don't work hard, but because there's no system showing them what they're overlooking. Blindspot fills in those gaps with data, so your team plans smarter and no account goes unnoticed.

Born in the field Blindspot wasn't built in a boardroom. Co-founder Tijl Van Mierlo worked as a field sales rep in the optical industry. Every week, the same routine: Excel sheets, paper maps, guesswork. Hours lost on planning while the only thing he wanted was to visit customers and build relationships.

He set out to build the tool he wished he'd had. Together with co-founder Cedric Hoste, who brings years of experience in digital strategy and project management from the financial sector, they turned that frustration into a platform. Today, Blindspot helps field sales teams across the Benelux plan their days with clear routes, sharp priorities, and zero blind spots.

Not another tool to manage, but one that actually makes the job easier. When reps feel relieved instead of frustrated, they sell better. And when they sell better, the whole organization wins.
